This all started almost accidentally. We bought 33 acres in 2001 and started homesteading. It began with gardening and chickens; we had a desire to have some control over our own food. We felt we could grow better, healthier, tastier products than we could buy. We grew our first two pigs for our own freezer. We enjoyed growing them, and it evolved from there. We grow our pigs out on pasture. They are born and raised outside with enough room to be pigs and do pig stuff. It is our goal to bring you the best pork you've ever eaten, free from hormones and antibiotics. We feed barley fodder we grow on farm hydroponically. We use a non-GMO, never been sprayed barley seed. We supplement with a custom grind from a local organic farm.
